Many thanks to the members of French Pass, D’Urville Island, Cissy Bay and Elaine Bay for attending the training course held at French Pass.
It was well worth the drive to see good numbers turn up. For some 3285 was new while others used the opportunity as a refresher. Following US3286 the crews put their new found skills to the test by creating a hand line
It was cool outside but even cooler in the hall, no chance of nodding off.
There was good discussion held with the crews around safety especially after the Kelly York and Deadman Zone videos were played.
Local hospitality shone through when it came to smoko and lunch, no one went hungry.
It was also an opportunity to size up the crews for the new PPE and bunker coats.
